Mission

Radical Nourishment seeks to provide energetic, emotional, and physical support to people and their nonhuman allies through nourishment coaching, permaculture design, doula services, conflict transformation, energy healing, sacred intimacy work, and more—all services that help embed individuals and communities into regenerative culture.

The goal of this work, in our eyes, is to decolonize our relationship with each other and the earth by tying back into nature’s rhythms and systems, reimagining ourselves as one small and accepted part of a larger, interconnected system, as opposed to its sole, unwanted dominator. We help our clients forge a lifeway where our presence and behavior on this earth actually regenerates the environment, instead of depleting and destroying it.

We believe that a regenerative lifeway is actually the most intuitive and straightforward way to live, but, because of thousands of years of social conditioning and oppression, we each have to relearn these ways of life for ourselves. The staff at Radical Nourishment makes it our business to understand what this looks like for ourselves and other people, with an understanding that the journey will be different for everyone. We want to share our discoveries with you (through our services and our online journal), and we hope to learn from you as well.

With an understanding that oppression makes it much harder for some of us to access resources than others, we make agreements on a sliding scale, and always offer some of our services at no financial charge. Nobody is turned away. Money is only one form of barter or trade that we accept. We also accept donations of time, food, childcare, recipes, carpentry, homesteading, pickling, cleaning, tidying, composting … the opportunities are endless. Work with us and we’ll work with you!

Please check out our services here. If you live locally, you can even come visit us at our physical home in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, to see what a mutualistic lifeway looks like in the flesh, and let’s see if we can meet each other’s needs. We often host events, which we list here.

Whether you live in the area or far away, we are always reachable via phone, email, or contact form here. We look forward to hearing from you soonest.
